Taking on the Challenge of Innovative Manufacturing
Since our founding in 1939, the Miki Pulley Group has contributed to improving the quality and productivity of machinery and equipment as an expert in power transmission and control.
Our belt-type continuously variable transmission, featuring variable-speed pulleys—our first product and the origin of our company name—brought innovation to manufacturing sites and played an important role in enhancing the quality and reliability associated with “Made in Japan.”
Behind this achievement was our founder’s passionate vision and unwavering commitment to creating an environment where engineers and skilled technicians could operate machinery exactly as intended and focus on ingenuity and innovation.
Since then, we have carried forward this vision and pioneering spirit, leveraging our global network and partnerships to develop products that have become industry standards.
What we have consistently pursued is turning the intended operation of machinery into tangible and reliable results.
To achieve this, we combine the design and machining expertise we have cultivated over many years with our proprietary testing, evaluation, and simulation technologies to develop products that deliver both high performance and reliability.
With our deep understanding of drive systems and the mechatronics expertise we have continuously refined, we believe we are uniquely positioned to unlock the full potential of machinery and create new value.
Looking ahead, machinery and robots will continue to become increasingly intelligent and autonomous.
The challenge is how to translate designs and movements conceived in the virtual world into physical reality exactly as intended. Achieving this requires technologies that can precisely transmit mechanical power and accurately control motion.
We are confident that the technologies we have inherited and continuously evolved will play an increasingly important role in the future of manufacturing.
Even as manufacturing enters this new era, we will continue to build on the technologies and experience we have established as a pioneer in power transmission and control,
creating new standards that will support the next generation of manufacturing.
In 2039, the Miki Pulley Group will celebrate its 100th anniversary.
While remaining true to our founding motto of “kindness and attentiveness” and valuing sincerity in everything we do, we will continue to take on the challenge of innovative manufacturing and strive to create new value.
