CMW Model (Clutch, Brake, Motor, and Gearbox)

This integrated model combines an electromagnetic clutch/brake and a worm gear reducer, with the electromagnetic clutch/brake driven by an induction motor via a coupling.Because the drive components are integrated, the unit requires minimal installation space and is compact.

The dynamic friction torque Td is the value at a relative speed of 100 min⁻¹. Additionally, depending on the initial torque characteristics, a break-in period may be required.

The 0.2 kW and 0.4 kW motors are totally enclosed motors with external fans that comply with JIS C 4210, while motors rated at 0.75 kW or higher comply with JIS C 4213.
The motor's input power supply is three-phase AC 200 V / 50 Hz, or AC 200 V or AC 220 V / 60 Hz.

The gear reducer is manufactured by Hirai Gear Reducer Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
