PSL-K (C) Electroless Nickel Plating Type
This mechanical shaft lock utilizes a tapered design; by tightening multiple clamping bolts, the tapered surfaces create a wedge effect that fully secures the shaft and hub together. Since the shaft and hub are joined by friction, this design overcomes the drawbacks of keyed connections. This shaft lock features a flange that allows for a smaller inner-to-outer diameter ratio between the shaft and hub, and is finished with electroless nickel plating.
