SRG Model
Unlike flexible couplings, this design does not include elements to compensate for misalignment between the two shafts, resulting in extremely high torsional rigidity. Furthermore, compared to flexible couplings, the outer diameter can be reduced relative to the torque, allowing for coupling downsizing and contributing to a reduction in the moment of inertia.

- Since the shaft is secured by friction, the allowable torque is determined by the bore diameter. The allowable torque value for the smaller diameter is the allowable torque for the coupling.
- The maximum rotational speed does not take dynamic balance into account.
- The torsional spring constant, moment of inertia, and mass are based on the values at the maximum bore diameter.
