Developed for servo motor applications, this ultra-high-rigidity metal leaf spring coupling offers exceptional properties: it is rigid in the torsional direction while remaining flexible in the shear, misalignment, and axial directions. The leaf springs that serve as the coupling elements were subjected to thorough analysis using the latest finite element method to achieve the most ideal shape possible.

These couplings utilize the elasticity of rubber and resin to offer a wide range of applications, and we offer a comprehensive lineup compatible with diesel engines, induction motors, and even servo motors. The elasticity of rubber and resin not only compensates for misalignment but also absorbs vibrations and shocks from the drive source, helping to protect mechanical equipment.

This is a magnetic coupling that utilizes the attractive and repulsive forces of magnets. It offers a wide tolerance for misalignment and angular misalignment during installation, and can be easily attached and detached. Additionally, because power is transmitted magnetically, it allows for transmission through partitions. This coupling is ideal for use in cleanrooms, food processing machinery, and pumps.

These metal couplings utilize the elasticity of spring mechanisms and can be broadly categorized into two types: those with built-in springs and those with slits cut into a cylindrical body to impart spring characteristics. Both types offer high flexibility and are capable of accommodating significant misalignments, such as eccentricity and angular misalignment.

The pin-and-bushing coupling transmits power via a unique link mechanism. The sliding motion between the pin and bushing provides damping, enabling stable power transmission while absorbing large eccentricities and angular misalignments. This unique link mechanism allows the parallel axes to rotate and also enables both axes to move in parallel while rotating.

Unlike flexible couplings, this design does not include elements to compensate for misalignment between the two shafts, resulting in extremely high torsional rigidity. Furthermore, compared to flexible couplings, the outer diameter can be reduced relative to the torque, allowing for coupling downsizing and contributing to a reduction in the moment of inertia.
