PDS Model
In belt-driven power transmission, this system features variable-pitch pulleys on both the drive shaft and the driven shaft. By forcibly changing the pitch on the drive side and causing the driven side to follow suit, it allows for speed variation without changing the distance between the drive and driven shafts.This is the basic type of double variable-pitch pulley transmission unit.
