AP Model

In belt-driven power transmission systems, a variable-pitch pulley is mounted on the drive shaft. By adjusting the distance between the drive and driven shafts, the belt pitch is forcibly altered to change the rotational speed. When combined with the P model, this unit can be used as a double variable-pitch pulley unit.

  • We can provide holes with the diameters indicated by the symbols in the table above. The ●, ◎, and ○ symbols indicate adapter types.
  • Adapters marked with a ◎ do not have a keyway. If using them with a keyed shaft, please remove the key before use.
  • Due to the adapter's specifications, the parallel key does not fit; therefore, an L-shaped key is included. Please use this L-shaped key when installing the adapter.
  • Please let us know whether you need the L-key with a hole diameter that complies with the new JIS standard or the old JIS standard.
