PK Model
In belt-driven power transmission systems, a variable-pitch pulley is mounted on the drive shaft. By adjusting the distance between the drive and driven shafts, the belt pitch is forcibly altered to change the rotational speed. The use of wide-pitch variable-speed belts allows for a wide range of gear ratios and ensures high transmission capacity.
