[Characteristics]
Supports both half-wave and full-wave rectification
BEM-2H/4H converts AC power to half-wave DC. Its simple, low-cost design may cause response variation, hum noise, and slightly higher coil heating than full-wave or smoothed supplies due to voltage ripple.
For applications sensitive to these effects, use a BEM-2F full-wave power supply, a smoothed supply, or a DC24V specification. Compared with half-wave supplies, the BEM-2F has lower ripple and provides more consistent clutch/brake response.
Output Voltage = Input Voltage × a (a=0.45: half-wave, 0.9: full-wave). Example: BEM-2H/4H: AC200V×0.45=DC90V; BEM-2F: AC100V×0.9=DC90V. Coil rated voltage must match the calculated output voltage to ensure specified clutch/brake performance.
