Model 122 (Dual-Clutch Brake)

This double clutch-brake unit compactly combines two electromagnetic clutches and an electromagnetic brake. It handles application-specific control tasks—such as high-precision positioning and complex operations—all in a single unit. Using the hub as the input, it performs functions such as two-speed shifting and precise positioning. By cutting off power to the electromagnetic clutches and applying power to the electromagnetic brake, it brakes the output shaft.

  • The dynamic friction torque Td is the value at a relative speed of 100 min⁻¹. Additionally, depending on the initial torque characteristics, a break-in period may be required.

  • The output keyway complies with the old JIS Type 2 standard, while the key complies with the old JIS Type 1 standard. Please note that the keyway dimensions for the unit hub section do not conform to JIS standards. Please refer to the dimension table above.
  • When inserting pulleys or similar components into the output shaft, please use the included insertion set.
  • The base of the 122-20-20G is made of cast metal.
