Magnetic coupling
This is a magnetic coupling that utilizes the attraction and repulsion of magnets. It offers a wide tolerance for misalignment and angular misalignment during installation, and can be easily attached and detached. Furthermore, since power is transmitted magnetically, it enables transmission through partitions. This coupling is ideal for use in cleanrooms, food processing machinery, and pumps.
List of Magnetic Couplings
Would you like to demagnetize it?
The material demagnetizes at a rate of up to approximately 0.1% per year.
Does magnetic flux leakage affect nearby equipment?
If you stay at least 50 mm away from the magnet, there will be virtually no effect. We also offer magnetic field analysis services, so please feel free to contact us.
Does magnetic force vary depending on the operating temperature?
The maximum transmission torque listed on our website is based on data measured at room temperature. Torque decreases gradually as the temperature rises. Please contact us if you plan to use the product in high-temperature environments.
Are there any points to keep in mind during assembly?
①Use a rigid, nonmagnetic, low-friction spacer before shaft mounting. ②Small sizes can be separated radially if attracted; do not force apart large sizes—contact us. ③Strong magnetic force may damage operators’ precision devices.
Does the transmitted torque vary depending on the size of the gap during installation?
Transmission torque decreases as the air gap increases and rises as it decreases. Check the maximum torque for each air gap during design. Adjustable maximum (release) torque also allows use as an overload protector.
