BMM (NHF) Flange-Mounted Type

We have integrated an excitation brake and a power supply unit into the motor without altering the dimensions of the standard motor. Applying current to the brake coil brings the motor shaft to a stop. Furthermore, the brake is released instantly when the current is cut off. A constant-load leaf spring is used to transmit the braking torque, ensuring consistently stable braking performance. This is a flange-mounted type.

  • The 0.2 kW and 0.4 kW motors are totally enclosed, externally ventilated motors compliant with JIS C 4210, while motors rated at 0.75 kW or higher are compliant with JIS C 4213. (Manufactured by Hitachi Industrial Equipment Systems Co., Ltd.)
  • The motor power supply is three-phase AC 200 V/50 Hz or AC 200 V/220 V/60 Hz.
  • For the permissible braking frequency of the brake motor, please refer to the page on design verification. Since the specific frequency varies depending on the load conditions, please verify it using the selection calculations.
