STARFLEX (Jaw Coupling)

This coupling features a simple design in which a cushioning element (polyurethane elastomer) is sandwiched between two hubs. Three types are available to suit your needs in terms of responsiveness during torque transmission and the amount of misalignment. The type designed with pre-compression applied to the element can be used with zero backlash. The STW model features hubs with precision-machined jaws, enabling even higher-precision rotational transmission than the Starflex ALS model.
