Electromagnetic-actuated Clutches and Brakes
Clutch and brake designs suited to full range of general industrial machinery
These units provide excellent performance thanks to intelligent clutch and brake designs suited to the full range of general industrial machinery. In addition to the 101/CS (clutch) and 111 (brake) models, which share the same basic design, we also provide the CSZ (clutch) and BSZ (brake) models, which greatly reduce assembly time for gap adjustments and the like by using a construction that unitizes all parts.

These clutches are suited to the full range of general industrial machinery. These intelligent designs excel in all the performance areas clutches require, including torque characteristics and response, and boast excellent durability as well. The 101 models are flange mounted while the CS models are bearing mounted. Both types of models can be made compatible with mounting conditions by combining them with armature assemblies, which have three different mounting shapes.
These are thin brakes with the same basic designs as clutches. They have the same excellent performance as clutches, particularly excellent response, and are at their best in rapid stopping of loads. Choose the optimal model from among the three types of armature assemblies, which have different mounting shapes.
These are models with unitized constructions based on the CS-35 type for bearing mountings and through-shafts.Unitized construction allows one-touch mounting. This can greatly shorten mounting time compared to complex installations that involve with gap adjustment and calibration of concentricity and eccentricity. Being easier to work with, they have excellent cost performance.
These models have unitized designs based on the 111-12 type of electromagnetic-actuated brake. They use two types of armature so they are shorter in the axial direction, thinner and more compact. Unitized construction allows one-touch mounting. This can greatly shorten mounting time compared to complex installations that involve with gap adjustment and calibration of concentricity and eccentricity. Being easier to work with, they have excellent cost performance.
